Pre-Engineering
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This program focuses on the basic theories and concepts of Electronics Engineering through hands-on experience with circuit design simulations and operating test equipment for troubleshooting. The program prepares students to apply their knowledge and skills toward developing engineering and system solutions, and to conduct themselves in an ethical and professional manner.
Certifications acquired through this sequence are the following:
- OSHA-10 or 30 - General Industry
- Electronics Technician Association (DC Module, AC Module, Digital Module)
- Copper-Based Cabling & Networking
- Fiber-Optics Cabling & Networking
